Commissioned in the Army on 12th December 1971. He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defense University, Islamabad. The General Zaki had an eminent career in Pakistan Army serving upon various command and staff assignments including DG Infantry, IG Arms and DG MI. In recognition to his outstanding services, he was bestowed Medals of Honor Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military).
Lieutenant General Tariq Waseem Ghazi was born to a military family joining the Pakistan Army in 1967. General Ghazi is the former Defense Secretary of Pakistan (2005 – 2007) and has a MS degree in War Studies from the University of Islamabad. Vice Adm Shafi was commissioned in 1974 into the operation branch of Pakistan Navy where he held various positions including Commander Coastal Areas and Commander Logistics. He has also held various other positions including Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Plans), Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Training & Personnel as well as Operations), Director General Naval Intelligence and Principal Staff Officer to the Chief of Naval Staff.

He has obtained his MSc in Defence and Strategic Studies from National Defence University, Islamabad and a certification in financial management from Naval Officers Training Centre, USA – 1990.
Hussain Haroon is a Pakistani politician, and businessman who served as Foreign Minister, Minister of Defence and Defence Production and National Security of Pakistan. He has previously served as the Speaker of Sindh Assembly & Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from September 2008 to October 2012.
Haroon began his early career in public service as election Coordinator for Pakistan Muslim League in 1970. Later he served as Councilor, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) (1979–1985); Trustee Karachi Port Trust (KPT) (1980–1982); Member Provincial Assembly of Sindh (1985–1988), Speaker, Provincial Assembly of Sindh (1985–1986); and leader of opposition, Provincial Assembly of Sindh (1986–1988).
Also served as Consultant, Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL) (1988–1989); delegate to the United Nations General Assembly; Member to the Board of Governors, Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (1996–1999); Director Board of Directors Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) (1997–1999).
